We Build Learning Experiences
We design and deliver integrative STEAM educational programs and content for K-20 students, young professionals and educators.
Our hands-on, minds-on programs, content and courses provide exciting, meaningful and authentic learning experiences in and out of classrooms around the world.
We love to design and deliver short and long duration courses for professional development or training of formal, informal, non-formal and homeschool educators and professionals! We provide more than just Cubes in Space training - we are continuing to build our catalog!
Immersive, longer-term educational experiences for students, educators or professionals. Check our our Cubes in Space program! Want us to design and manage a challenge or contest for you? Want a bespoke course, workshop or camp? We can deliver!
This is something brand new for us! Yes, we delivered on-site student programming and will continue post Covid-19. But now we offer courses through Outschool to students 11-18 years of age interested in Cubes in Space and other STEAM-related topics!

Big Science in Little Cubes!
It's hard to believe that this is the ninth year of our Cubes in Space program. Many of you have integrated the program into your teaching or STEM-enrichment offerings over the years. You've watched the program grow and improve, and we've experienced joys and disappointments together. If the pandemic taught us anything it's that we are stronger than we ever imagined and possess great determination and perseverance. And out of challenging times can come new ideas and opportunities as a means to sustain our programs...or sanity.
For a couple of years, we've had an idea kicking about in our heads to design a powered-experiment program. And now we have the opportunity to develop and offer the Cubes in Space ION+ (Individual Onboard Nanocomputer) program, which will be open for pre-registration in early winter 2022. Students will learn about concepts of space mission design, scientific exploration, electricity, electronics, hardware components, software and basic coding, and engineering principles in this authentic learning-by-doing approach to hardware development and testing on the Research Balloon-7 mission next summer. We will even be offering educator professional development/training for those that have always wanted to delve into electronics!
Because we were not able to fly the Sounding Rocket-7 (SR-7) experiments - because FedEx lost our package and returned it a month later - we will not have 80 spaces available on the SR-8 mission that launches in June 2022. Therefore, competition will be even more fierce than ever! But don't let that deter your students. Scientific research and exploration, along with technology development, take time and perseverance!
Lastly, we developed new hands-on activities, assessments and remote-learning resources for this 2022 program. And our content has a new look and feel too!
We can't wait for your and your students to embark on this journey of exploration and discovery. So let's get started!
